Playing Before Bedtime
A few evenings this week, I got a kick out of playing with the goats for a while before I put them to bed. I had a terrible time getting them to go in the shed on the second night.
I had to push them in.
I came inside and told mom about this, and she said, "Of course. Every parent learns not to play with the kids before bed."

Ditto what your mother said - I was thinking the same thing, smiling of course. Its okay to keep them up past their bedtime every once in a while. :>)

ReplyDeletePerhaps you could try reading them a bedtime story..it worked with my kids. calm them right down. It's a good snuggle time, too. They may even read along...oh, wait, my kids were a little different than yours!!
