Cat Scratch Fever
Note to self. Don't get plastic storm windows if you have cats. The windows are torn in three places. Two of them are these perfectly symmetrical, parallel - claw rips. Probably Sparky. Thankfully, he didn't get through both layers of plastic.
chicken countdown - exciting! Perhaps if a different window solution is not in the near future, if there is a window or 2 that the cats frequent, a piece of plexi-glass and some caulk may be a thought. If they scratch it, it won't go through. If it is scratchy, you can just Pledge it and the smaller scratches disappear. I'm going to get a job finding things for other people to do!!
I am a 40-something city girl trying to integrate city and country, homestead-y things like spinning and knitting, cheese and beer making with city things like art and culture and other people.
Doh! (Darn 'kids'.) ;)
ReplyDeleteP.S. I'm getting excited for you - chickens SOON!!!
Yes!! Sunday's the day! I have to finish up the coop today and tomorrow. Psyched is only semi-accurate of a word.
