Oh Fig!
I went out this morning to feed the chickens and noticed this. One of the figs on my tiny fig tree has turned brown-ish! The entire tree is about 1 foot tall. If every single fig ripens, I'll have, oh, maybe 6 figs.
It's in a pot, so I'll bring it inside when it gets cold. [It's the oddest thing... this is the third time I've tried to post a reply here. Both other times have disappeared into the ether.]
I am a 40-something city girl trying to integrate city and country, homestead-y things like spinning and knitting, cheese and beer making with city things like art and culture and other people.
That's amazing! Is it an outdoor tree?

ReplyDeleteIs the fig a favorite fruit of yours?
