Invasion of the Ladybugs
The whole second floor is like this. Crunchy when I walk. I sweep it up, but they come back. Internet research reveals (because we know that all wisdom comes from the internet!) that this is not uncommon, and that these bugs (properly beetles) arrive around Halloween. Right on schedule!
Geesh, I thought we had a lady bug problem last year! Ours seem to have (thankfully) disappeared over this past summer but all the summer and winter before that, you saw one crawling on every surface seems like every time you turned around . . . but not to the extent you have them. Maybe all of ours crawled to New York?
I am a 40-something city girl trying to integrate city and country, homestead-y things like spinning and knitting, cheese and beer making with city things like art and culture and other people.
